About Rabbi Ari Enkin

Rabbi Ari Enkin made aliya in July 2004 after serving as a congregational and community rabbi in Montreal, Edmonton, and Winnipeg. He first received semicha from the Yeshiva Gedola of Montreal, where he began his immersion in halacha study, as well as from the late Rav Pinchas Hirshprung. He also received yadin-yadin ordination from a number of prominent dayanim, including Rav Ephraim Greenblatt of Memphis. He holds a Master’s Degree in Informal Adult Education from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.

Rabbi Enkin is currently the Director of Halacha at Yeshivat Migdal Hatorah in Modiin, a halacha rebbe at Yeshivat Ashreinu in Beit Shemesh, and Rabbinic Director of United with Israel. He is also the general editor and halacha columnist of the highly acclaimed halacha website Hirhurim (www.torahmusings.com).
